- I am a busy mom to three great kids: The Boy, Kevin (10 years old); the Princess, Shaylee (should be called the whiner, 7 years old) and the Bug, Ashlee (2 years old). I bake for people because they like what I make and they pay me for it, which is great since my hubby's a teacher and I stay home. I love to read and I can become quite absorbed in a book, which is why I haven't read a book lately (too buy with other stuff). I am a big fan of Stephenie Meyer, but I also love the classics like Jane Austen and Thomas Hardy. I am a Daisy Girl Scout leader for The Princess's troop and I also help with tons of other random projects: room mother, Activities Committee at church, and much more. As my kids get older I feel like I'm running faster and longer each day. But life is great!
